Dr. Fran Woodworth, D.V.M.

Dr. Fran Woodworth received a BS in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1979, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1983. She and Dr. Norm Woodworth were veterinary classmate sweethearts and married after their sophomore year. They practiced in Quakertown, PA for 3 years before moving to Elba, NY in 1986.

Dr. Fran practiced equine medicine based out of her home, and did small animal relief work at the Warsaw Animal Hospital until the opening of the State Street Animal Hospital in 1994. The small animal work became so demanding that she closed the equine portion of the practice in 2004. Dr. Fran especially loves doing surgery, and developing her ultrasound exam skills.

“It is such a joy to work with so many caring and creative people. Our staff is the best, and our attitude is it’s been a good day if we have made our clients’ day a little better. We are always looking for ways to serve our patients and clients better.”
